We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Children’s Social Care Team. We seek individuals who thrive in busy environments to support children, young people, and families.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, 22 hours per week, ideally across Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
You will collaborate with a dedicated social work team including a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, Social Workers, Family Support Practitioners, and Administrative staff.
We value applicants with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a friendly, patient, and confident approach, and the ability to work well with colleagues, professionals, and the public.
Excellent IT skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems. You should be an adept typist capable of taking accurate minutes at complex meetings.
Organization and flexibility are crucial to meet the demands of a busy team. You will handle confidential and sensitive information professionally, adhering to corporate and national guidelines.
