Responsibilities and duties of the Operations Manager role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will:
1.
Oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the biomass-fired combined heat and power plant.
2.
Lead and manage the operations team to achieve generation and availability targets.
3.
Ensure all plant processes, including turbine and boiler systems, are operated within environmental and safety standards.
4.
Maintain accurate operational logs and performance records.
5.
Support and implement the site's maintenance strategy, including both planned and reactive activities.
6.
Manage compliance with statutory regulations such as LOLER and PUWER.
