*Head of Manufacturing - Snodland, Kent* My client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Production to join our team. As a Head of Production, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective planning of our production activities. We are looking for someone to take control of and implement new production planning procedures. Making sure we have sufficient stock levels to fulfil all orders and quality control standards that we are looking to improve. My client are growing quickly and has seen considerable growth over the last 3 years. So, you need to be confident in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on a big challenge! Your role will be based in our manufacturing unit along side the production operatives using our 1L, 5L and 20L filling machines and also our Pallet team that fill and manufacture larger bulk orders. Duties: Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity constraints, and inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans with sales forecasts and customer requirements. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and components. Conduct regular analysis of production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Implement and maintain systems for tracking production metrics, including cycle time, yield, and quality control. Optimise product assembly processes and ensure efficient utilisation of resources. Provide guidance to your team of production operatives. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning to drive continuous improvement initiatives Experience: Proven experience as a Head of Production or similar role in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of business processes and systems related to production planning Excellent understanding of supply chain management principles and practices Proficiency in using production planning software and tools Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Package: Basic salary – Upto £65k bonus
