Abbey Medical Centre are looking to recruit a hard working and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to our team. Shift pattern Thursday & Friday, hours can be negotiated however both full days would be preferred. Salary dependent on experience.
Band 6 equivalent and the suitable candidate should have knowledge of chronic disease reviews, smears, dressings and wound management as well as other nursing duties. Experience in Asthma and COPD reviews would be desirable. A knowledge of Vision clinical system would be preferable however not essential as training can be given by our other nursing staff.
We are a friendly Practice with 8 GP's, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurse and Phlebotomy team as well as Physiotherapist, Mental Health Nurse and Community Link Worker certain days throughout the week.
