Job Description
* Processing invoices and matching them with purchase orders
* Performing account reconciliations
* Ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices
* Assisting with monthly and yearly closure processes
* Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
* Maintaining digital and physical financial records
* Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team
