We are seeking a nurturing and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Redbridge, working within EYFS and Key Stage 1. This role is perfect for graduates or experienced support staff who have a genuine interest in early development and want to make a meaningful impact during these crucial early years.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), speech & language delays, and social, emotional, and behavioural needs-helping them develop key foundational skills in communication, learning, and social interaction.

Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support within EYFS and KS1 classrooms
* Supporting early learning through play-based and structured activities
* Assisting with speech, language, and communication development
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and social skills
* Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
* Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Pay & Hours
* £93 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday, term-time only
* Typical hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children in EYFS, KS1, or similar settings
* Background in schools, nurseries, tutoring, childcare, or support work
* A genuine passion for early years development and SEND
* Patient, caring, and enthusiastic individuals
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
