Job Title: Teaching and Learning Lead

The Teaching and Learning role is key to HRUC. The post holder will take a lead role in promoting excellent practice in teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA) across the College.
The post holder will provide central leadership to the Teaching and Learning Advocates and oversee the Lesson Observation procedure to maximize benefits in improving teaching, learning, and assessment.
They will plan and coordinate the delivery and assessment of courses starting in September 2025.
This is an across-college role, requiring 2 days at RuTC and 3 days at other sites. The role will commence in August/September 2025.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond, and Uxbridge College Group. It is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges, providing education and training to 16-19-year-olds and adults from across Richmond, London, and Surrey for over 80 years. The college has a new building opened in 2020 and a state-of-the-art STEM Centre opened in 2024. This innovative learning environment is located within the current college grounds, conveniently accessible via public transport, including proximity to Twickenham rail station and several bus routes.

Salary: £46,543 to £50,646 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting.
