Material Control Supervisor

The Stores Team plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, safety, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include inventory management, risk mitigation, and supporting Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) objectives, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.
The successful candidate will oversee site inventory and material management, ensuring efficiency and compliance. This includes managing daily operations, driving performance through KPIs, maintaining safety standards, and leading process adherence, teamwork, and communication.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure health and safety compliance in line with CF UK Stores SHE plan and procedures.
* Lead store operations, ensuring standards, systems, and processes are followed.
* Provide expertise in stores operations and systems development.
* Support procurement and material control projects.
* Manage local master data.
* Publish monthly KPIs on performance measures.
* Maintain audits on delivery points, security, safety, cycle counts, and personnel.
* Validate stock data and equipment condition; manage inventory and obsolescence.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement within inventory management.
* Position Inventory Control as a valued partner to manufacturing and engineering.
* Manage turnaround material control, including planning and critical item delivery.
* Maintain training certifications and cover staffing during absences.
* Drive initiatives to improve store efficiency, such as VMI and consignment stock.
