We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and dedicated individual to join our team at Widemouth Bay Caravan Park in a Grounds & Maintenance role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable dealing with guests in a busy holiday park environment.
This is a hands-on, varied role that combines grounds maintenance, landscaping, and general maintenance support, helping to ensure the park remains safe, welcoming, and well presented at all times.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Grounds & Landscaping
* Daily litter picking across the park
* Grass cutting using lawn mowers and strimmers
* Hedge cutting, gardening, weeding, and planting
* Landscaping and general upkeep of park grounds
* Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard throughout the season
Maintenance & Guest Support
* Responding to maintenance issues and enquiries from guests during their stay
* Ensuring park facilities and accommodation are safe and well maintained
* Carrying out general maintenance tasks as required
* Supporting team members across different departments when needed
* Working flexibly between grounds duties and maintenance jobs during the day
About You:
* Reliable, proactive, and a good problem solver
* Friendly with good customer service skills, as you'll be dealing with the public daily
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
* Experience in grounds or maintenance work is preferred but not essential – training can be provided
* Must be over 18 for insurance purposes
* Full UK driving licence essential for use of on-site vehicles
* Own transport or reliable travel arrangements required due to shift times and limited bus service
Hours & Contract:
* Seasonal position until November, with the possibility of some work during the closed period depending on business needs
* Hours worked on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
* Flexibility is essential
Pay & Benefits:
* Hourly rate starting from £12.30 per hour
* Weekly pay every Friday
* Training provided in certain areas
