What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading whole-school SEN provision and inclusion strategy
* Managing EHCP processes, funding bids, Annual Reviews, and external liaison
* Overseeing a skilled team of SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral professionals
* Supporting the Headteacher and SLT in shaping school-wide development
* Promoting restorative behaviour management and therapeutic practices
* Collaborating across the MAT to share best practice and innovation
* Driving ambitious outcomes for pupils with complex SEND
Ideal Assistant Headteacher (SENCO) For this Bexley School:
* Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) – essential
* Experienced in SEN leadership within specialist, AP or SEMH settings
* Strategic thinker with experience contributing to whole-school leadership
* A confident communicator and collaborative leader
