Ready to join us?This is the jobAs a Senior Personal Injury Handler, you will support the Personal Injury department in its objective of effectively managing OIC/MOJ/Fast track Personal injury claims.nThrough the development of departmental processes, training and implementation of change, your technical expertise will pay a key role in ensuring the Personal Injury Team remains at the forefront of the evolving personal injury picture.What will I be doing?You’ll be:nnDirectly managing claims up to a value of £25k across all areas of Personal Injury in accordance with the claim’s philosophy, claims handling procedures and service levelsnActing as a point of technical expertise to help shape the teams ongoing strategynCarrying out departmental audits to ensure best practice within the departmentnProviding assistance, coaching and training colleagues to ensure a high level of technical ability within the teamnSupporting the team leader in the delivery of change projects to ensure continual improvementnWorking closely with internal claims teams such as Credit Hire and counter fraud to ensure claims with these elements are correctly managed and risks mitigatednWhat do I need?nThorough knowledge of insurance with a strong understanding of the principles of insurancenMinimum 2 years’ experience in Personal Injury claimsnAn in-depth understanding of the motor insurance claims market and how it operates and have a track record of using this knowledge to drive efficienciesnEffective communication & interpersonal skillsnStakeholder management, ability to build strong networks & influence upwardsnGood analytical skills -Management Information (MI) – attention to detailnEffective presentation skillsnAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
