Operating out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, they currently employ over people and produce bespoke high-end products for use in a variety of industries and types of facilities.
This employer is based in LEEDS, meaning that the successful Project Manager will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Bradford, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Bingley and Keighley.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:
1. Providing Electrical and/or Mechanical expertise to clients & colleagues throughout the entire life-cycle, including tendering, procurement, design, manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning
2. Organisation & allocation of labour (including sub-contractors) and materials with a view of ensuring that the completion date is achieve
3. Timely preparation and development of various reports & documentation (method statements, risk assessments, commissioning reports etc.)
4. Attending frequent customer meetings, face to face where required and via MS Teams/digital platforms, ensuring that the customer is updated on order progress
For the Project Manager, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
5. IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within an Electrical or Electronic focused subject (Degree, Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, City & Guilds/NVQ/BTEC Level 3 etc.)
6. Previous experience working in a similar role – ideally with an organisation operating in a field relevant to Electrical Engineering or Power
7. Strong organizational, planning and coordinating skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a vast range of individuals & personalities
Working Hours of the Project Manager:
37.5 Hours per week with a flexi-time offered
Standard Hours:
8. Monday to Thursday – 08:15 to 17:00
9. Friday – 08:15 to 12:45
10. Flexi-Time: All overtime & extra hours worked will be given back as hours available to use on this scheme; 4 hour minimum day applied every day (2 Hours in AM & 2 hours in PM)
In return, the Project Manager will receive:
