Job Description:
Position Overview: 35 hours per week, with flexibility for part-time hours if required for the right candidate. Monday - Friday.
* Maintain the Purchase Order systems for the Edinburgh Facility.
* Purchase and create orders for office supplies, laboratory equipment, consumables, IT equipment, and other ad-hoc needs.
* Support ad-hoc investigations related to equipment and/or facilities that facilitate study management.
* Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and maintain a clean and tidy working environment, including proper maintenance of laboratory fittings and equipment.
* Understand and adhere to Eurofins Edinburgh QMS policies, procedures, and related documents, especially in facility-related areas.
* Assist in operating best practices to meet ISO 9001 accreditation standards.
* Provide high-quality internal and external customer care.
Qualifications:
* Computer literate with excellent typing skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of telephone systems and good telephone manner.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Good customer care skills.
* Numeracy skills.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, and driven outlook.
* Maths and English at GCSE C or above, or equivalent.
