About the Role:
As Farm Technician, you ll:
* Care of animals, including daily checks, feeding, grooming, show preparation, bedding up, and assisting with breeding and lambing.
* Maintain farm equipment and structures, performing minor repairs and ensuring safety.
* Support students during practical lessons and prepare resources for their agricultural education.
* Work on a rota system to cover farm duties throughout term time, weekends, and holidays.
* Contribute to events such as Open Days, Lambing Days, and community shows, ensuring the farm is a welcoming and engaging environment.
What We re Looking For:
* Practical experience in livestock care and farm operations.
Strong maintenance and organisational skills.
* A passion for working with young people and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
* Agricultural qualifications (Level 2 or higher) and a full UK car licence, for tractor driving and checking of stock is essential.
