Are you an innovative, ‘outside-the-box’ thinker with a passion for driving positive change through employee relations? We’re looking for a confident and proactive ER Advisor to join our dynamic People Team – someone ready to take full ownership of all ER casework for our Head Office population.
This isn’t a back-seat, supportive role. You'll be the go-to expert for ER matters in our Head Office – leading, influencing, and owning cases from start to finish. That means managing the full spectrum of ER activity (grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, etc.), but also spotting trends in data, identifying root causes, and collaborating with the wider People team to improve the colleague experience and drive long-term, people-first solutions. Our Employee Relations Advisors operate as a hub of employee relations support for the Ocado Logistics management team. They support a team of approximately 400 managers across the business, taking ownership of ER cases, including high-level disciplinaries, appeals, grievances, short-term and long-term sickness, data reporting and more.

What you will do
Responsibilities include:
* Take ownership of ER cases for the Head Office population from start to finish (grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, appeals, sickness) and ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Identify trends in ER data, analyse root causes, and collaborate with the People team to implement improvements in performance, attendance, retention and the employee experience.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cases, including attending meetings and taking notes as required.
* Provide advice and support to managers across a broad spectrum of ER areas and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
* Prioritise and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous ER experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
* Strong record-keeping skills and ability to attend meetings and take notes.
* Passion for initiatives that improve performance, attendance, retention and the overall employee experience.
Your previous roles may have included: Employee Relations Advisor, Employee Relations Specialist, ER Case Officer, ER Case Handler, or HR Advisor.
