Job Title: Housing Service Manager (Domestic Violence) Location: Birmingham Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Service Manager to lead our clients domestic violence housing service in Birmingham. This role is vital in ensuring that survivors of domestic abuse receive high-quality support and safe accommodation. You will be responsible for managing a team of support workers, maintaining property standards, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and housing regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day management of supported housing services for individuals and families affected by domestic violence Lead and supervise staff, providing guidance, supervision, and professional development Manage tenancy and property-related matters, ensuring all housing meets safety and quality standards Develop and implement service plans, policies, and procedures to ensure effective service delivery Liaise with external partners including local authorities, social services, and other agencies Monitor service outcomes, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements Promote a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to service delivery Qualifications and Experience Required Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work, Housing Management, Psychology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years experience in managing supported housing or domestic violence services Strong understanding of domestic abuse, safeguarding procedures, and housing legislation Proven experience in team management and service development Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and manage complex caseloads Enhanced DBS check required How to Apply If you are passionate about supporting survivors of domestic violence and have the skills to lead a compassionate and effective housing team, please submit your CV.
