Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Consultants supported by Specialist Doctors and Specialist Nursing Team in the paediatric department and will participate in the in-hours on-call rota to complete Child Protection Medicals. The Trust welcomes discussion with individuals seeking a more flexible working pattern and hours to support a different work-life balance. The post is within the middle grade tier, working at Middle Grade level.
Services
The Community Paediatric Department offers services in:
* Child Protection
* Adoption and Fostering for the Local Authority
* School Health Services, giving advice to the Local Authority regarding children with Special Educational Needs
* ADHD and Autism
* Neurodisability
* Health Promotion
Responsibilities
* Attend outpatient clinics alongside consultants
* Safeguarding: assessment and management of children referred for safeguarding
* Participate in the in-hours on-call rota
* Attend monthly peer review meetings
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have full registration with the GMC.
