6 months max term fulltime opportunity (with view to extend) Located at Norwest offering hybrid work arrangements Be part of a supportive team delivering impactful technology solutions About the Role: As a Business Analyst, you will work with stakeholders from all parts of BaptistCare to elicit requirements and capture business needs, to articulate and document business requirements, to conduct as-is/to-be business process mapping and business process design, to participate in project delivery through design reviews and walk-throughs, to validate and communicate outcomes. Step into a high-impact role at the heart of a major acquisition. As our Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in transitioning and integrating the acquisition of 10 Retirement Villages into our broader WA operations. You’ll lead the charge in consolidating and migrating critical data, ensuring a smooth, well-orchestrated transition from day one. You’ll dive deep into end-to-end business processes; from sales, bonds and admissions through to payroll, accounts payable, onboarding and aged debtors—capturing the workflows, system processes and business rules that keep operations running. By comparing incumbent processes with BaptistCare’s ways of working, you’ll uncover gaps, overlaps and opportunities for improvement, helping shape a stronger, more streamlined future state. You’ll also be central to migration planning, bringing clarity to priorities, sequencing and dependencies to keep this complex transition on track. Key Responsibilities: Lead the documentation of current-state business processes associated with the data entry onto systems, document the integrations, data flows and storage locations. Map end-to-end workflows and system processes, capturing key business rules and operational dependencies. lead a comparison analysis of processes and data to identify gaps, overlaps and improvement opportunities in Baptistcare’s systems. Define the migration approach to BaptistCare’s core systems, including but not limited to Epicor, TechOne, MS Dynamics, Salesforce). Identify and prioritise capability uplift and system enhancements to support the acquisition and future-state design. Support transition planning by clarifying priorities, sequencing and dependencies to ensure a smooth integration. You’ll join a collaborative, solutions-focused team that values creativity, flexibility, and turning complex projects into real-world impact for our frontline teams About You: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business analyst delivering complex process, data and system change initiatives. Demonstrated experience working on enterprise system implementations or replacements, particularly finance, payroll, CRM or care-related platforms. Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Business Analysis or a related discipline. Experience in mapping, analysing, and improving business processes using BPMN or other structured process methodologies. Solid understanding of systems, data and integration concepts, with the ability to document application and data architectures. Experience defining and supporting data and system migration approaches, including sequencing, dependencies and risk considerations. High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for executives, business users and technical team Previous experience participating on Project teams Experience using business analysis and delivery tools such as Visio, Jira, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent. Ability to develop relationships with key organisational stakeholders, including Execs and Business users. Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment. Desirable experience includes: Experience in acquisitions, transitions or large-scale migrations, ideally involving multi-system environments, highly desirable Experience with Healthcare and Aged Care systems and technology Experience with Project Management Driven to deliver technology that truly supports our teams and the communities we care for?
