About the Role We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused IT & AI Technician to join our Digital team. This role combines hands-on IT support with opportunities to contribute to the organisation’s growing use of AI, automation, and digital innovation. You will support colleagues across the business with day-to-day IT operations while also helping identify and implement smarter, more efficient ways of working through technology and AI-enabled solutions. The role sits within the Digital team and works closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure systems, devices, and digital platforms remain secure, reliable, and user-friendly within a hybrid working environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, continuous learning, and exploring how emerging technologies can improve business operations and colleague experience. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line IT support for colleagues across the organisation Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-access issues Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and shipping Maintain user accounts, permissions, and IT asset records Support Microsoft 365 systems including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive Ensure support requests and resolutions are documented accurately Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation Support testing, research, and implementation of AI-enabled workflows and digital tools Assist with reporting, workflow optimisation, and operational improvement initiatives Contribute to cyber security, compliance, and secure IT practices across the organisation Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guidance Work collaboratively with the wider Digital team and contribute positively to team culture Experience, Skills & Qualifications Essential Strong practical experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organisation and attention to detail Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently A proactive and solutions-focused approach Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies Ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid working environment Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths Desirable Qualification in IT, Computing, Digital Technologies, or a related discipline Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows devices, and cloud-based platforms Understanding of cyber security principles and IT best practice Microsoft or other relevant technical certifications AI, automation, or digital technology-related training or apprenticeship experience Interpersonal Fit We’re looking for someone who: Is aligned with our values and culture Brings curiosity and a passion for learning Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships Takes ownership and approaches challenges proactively Enjoys solving problems and supporting others Is excited by innovation, digital improvement, and emerging technologies Works collaboratively and contributes positively to team culture Why Work With Us?
