About the role

We’re evolving People Operations into a one‑stop shop for colleagues by building a single, trusted entry point into the People function that provides consistent, user‑centred, and reliable support.

As our People Operations Lead, you’ll be at the heart of this. You’ll lead the team responsible for delivering the core people processes colleagues rely on every day, from lifecycle changes and compliance checks, through to day‑to‑day queries and system interactions.

Your work will ensure every colleague has a smoother, simpler, and more joined‑up experience, no matter how or when they contact us.

This means:


* Making sure colleagues get the right support, first time
* Streamlining workflows so processes feel easy and intuitive
* Ensuring our People Information System (Dayforce) and ServiceNow are used to their full potential
* Creating a culture of ownership, accuracy and continuous improvement
* Being the operational heartbeat of our people function, enabling consistent, high‑quality delivery every day


You’ll work closely with our wider People team as well as Payroll, IT, Data and PMO teams to ensure our services and systems work seamlessly together to create one, unified experience for colleagues.

About you

You’ll bring:


* Experience in people operations and HR transactional services
* Confidence working with digital HR systems (we use Dayforce)
* A passion for service improvement and making processes simpler and more intuitive
* Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Experience leading and developing people where a coaching style feels natural to you
* A CIPD L7 qualification.


Most importantly, you care about delivering a great colleague experience. You enjoy spotting where things can work better, and you’re energised by creating a trusting and collaborative environment where your team can thrive.

What you’ll lead on


* Daily delivery of all core people operations
* Ensuring a consistent, high‑quality one‑stop shop People service
* Embedding efficient, compliant, user‑friendly processes
* Overseeing query triage and resolution
* Managing data accuracy, systems workflows and compliance
* Coaching and developing a high-performing People Operations team
* Using insight and data to continually improve our services
