Role and Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with diverse special educational needs, including those with challenging behaviours.
* Assist with engaging classroom activities, maintaining a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
* Offer personal care, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene support, when necessary.
* Implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) under the guidance of classroom teachers.
* Cultivate a nurturing environment to boost student engagement and participation.
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver holistic education and care.
What Theyre Looking For:
* Experience with children with special educational needs is a plus, but not essential.
* Ability to handle and positively respond to challenging behaviour.
* Willingness to provide personal care as required.
* Valid drivers license and reliable transportation due to the schools location and off:site activities.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with SEN.
