What will you be doing?
The Team Leader is part of the Management Team, responsible for promoting the rights and responsibilities of working-age adults with disabilities through service provision and development.
* Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents, meeting the requirements of West Northamptonshire Council for elderly care services.
* Supporting administrative, analytical, and financial tasks as assigned by the manager.
* Overseeing assessments and the development of individual care plans, ensuring services meet these plans to provide personalized support.
* Managing the review, performance, and updating of care plans and team performance to reflect the needs of customers and commissioners.
* Delivering staff induction, ongoing training, and performance management to ensure effective resource use.
* Contributing to the overall management and future development of services, including planning for diverse cultural needs.
* Participating in resource planning, budget monitoring, and future budget needs assessment.
* Promoting customer voice and advocacy in service delivery.
* Demonstrating understanding of equal opportunities and addressing behavioral, physical, social, and welfare needs.
* Ensuring health, safety, and welfare at all times, complying with policies and procedures.
* Performing any other duties consistent with the role and scope of the job.
Hours: 37 hours per week, with a mix of early and late shifts, every other weekend off.
About you
You might be a shift lead seeking the next step or a current Team Leader looking to develop further.
You should have previous care leadership experience and an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or similar.
We offer 2.5 weeks of induction training plus 2-4 weeks of a Buddy Scheme to support your transition.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check at our cost.
