SEN Teaching Assistant (September 2026 Start) Location: Harefield, Hillingdon Pay: £95– £100 per day (PAYE, Paid weekly) Hours: 08:45 – 15:15 Monday to Friday The School and Role This is a specialist secondary SEND provision opening a brand-new site in Harefield, Hillingdon in September 2026. The school is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties, sensory processing differences, and speech, language and communication needs, including autism spectrum conditions. The successful Teaching Assistant will work within small class groups, supporting pupils with varying abilities and individual learning needs through tailored interventions and day-to-day classroom support. The provision supports children and young people aged 11–19 and delivers highly personalised teaching alongside specialist therapeutic and pastoral support. In addition to academic learning, there is a strong emphasis on social, emotional and communication development, with a clear focus on preparing pupils for adulthood and future independence. Requirements The desired SEN Teaching Assistnat will: Have a caring, supportive and nurturing personality Be available to start immediately and full time DBS on the update service 2 references Have experience of working with those who are non-verbal, pre verbal.
