About the Role:
As a Laundry & Domestic Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our home merry and bright. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring communal areas, resident rooms, and laundry services are sparkling clean, organised, and welcoming all year round.
2. Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry efficiently, with attention to individual resident needs.
3. Following infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
4. Assisting the wider care team to promote dignity, comfort and wellbeing for residents.
5. Providing flexible support across the home to keep the festive spirit alive!
You’ll Need:
6. Previous cleaning or laundry experience is a bonus, but not essential
7. A patient, kind, and respectful approach to supporting older people.
8. Flexibility to help across different areas of the home as needed.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, keeping everything to a high standard.
10. Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to keeping our home safe, clean and cheerful.
