As we approach the retirement of a long-standing team member with almost 40 years of service, E Manton Ltd is seeking to recruit a highly skilled
Payroll & Subcontractor Coordinator
. This rare and pivotal role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of our team.
The role has two primary areas of responsibility:
1.
Subcontractor Ledger Management
: Overseeing the timely payment of our subcontractor supply chain, ensuring compliance with statutory returns and meeting HMRC deadlines.
2.
Weekly Payroll Processing
: Managing and processing payroll for our site-based teams, ensuring accurate allocation of costs to specific projects.
Given the specialised nature of the regulations in our industry, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in a finance role within the construction sector, along with a strong understanding of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) and DRC (Domestic Reverse Charge) VAT rules.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our offices in Birmingham Business Park, conveniently located near the NEC.
