Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading supply chain partner to recruit a Category Manager for a major client in Doncaster.
As Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering procurement strategies across a defined portfolio of suppliers. You will play a vital role in securing best value, strengthening supplier relationships and driving operational improvements.

The Role
* Leading strategic sourcing and implementing category strategies
* Negotiating and managing long term contracts and framework agreements
* Driving supplier performance and development initiatives
* Analysing data to inform strategy, decision making and stakeholder engagement
* Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial goals
* Supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain
The Person
* CIPS Qualified or working towards
* Previous experience within a technical industrial role (Manufacturing, Engineering, Marine, Rail, Aerospace etc)
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing ability
* High resilience and the ability to work to demanding deadlines
* Desirable: knowledge of SAP
