We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
* Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive environment
* Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
* Uphold nursery policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare
* Key person experience with a good understanding of the EYFS is essential.
* Previous nursery experience is essential.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating patience and understanding
* A driving licence is advantageous.
* A genuine passion for fostering children's development through play-based learning

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 26 per week
