The School and Role:
A welcoming and well-established school in Huddersfield is seeking to appoint an organized, professional, and friendly School Administrator to join their supportive team.
This is a busy and rewarding role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office and providing a welcoming first point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
* Managing front office and reception duties
* Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
* Maintaining accurate pupil records and school databases
* Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
* Assisting with general administrative tasks and document preparation
* Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
* Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day operations
Ideal Candidate:
* Have previous administration experience, ideally within a school setting
* Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
* Be confident using Microsoft Office and school systems
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills
* Be approachable, professional, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude
