Position
Receptionist / Administrator – Manchester – 12‑month contract – £15 ph PAYE.
Responsibilities
* Front‑of‑office reception and administration support, including greeting visitors, managing sign‑ins and escorting visitors to booked meeting rooms.
* Answer phone calls and take messages with a professional attitude, ensuring timely pickup and correct transfer.
* Monitor visitor access, issue corporate ID cards and liaise with building and facilities management teams.
* Manage meeting room bookings, coordinate refreshments, and order lunches for meetings.
* Arrange courier collections, receive and issue courier and mail items.
* Book desks for visitors and Network Rail staff.
* Assist colleagues with administrative duties, book travel and accommodation, and submit expenses and timesheets.
* Raise and report stationery, office, IT and catering supply orders; distribute weekly whereabouts updates.
* Coordinate and report maintenance issues to the landlord, and keep relevant spreadsheets and folders up to date.
* Assist in organising office events, update noticeboard, and support the Office Manager and Design Manager to ensure efficient service.

* Experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
* Ability to work as part of a close‑knit team.
* Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
