Overview
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Compliance Officer, located on-site in Reading. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations and employees adhere to the relevant regulatory and legal requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting audits, maintaining compliance records, conducting training sessions, and staying current with healthcare compliance regulations. The Compliance Officer will also be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, and working closely with various departments to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
* Experience in conducting audits and maintaining compliance records
* Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and legal requirements
* Excellent communication and training skills
* Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various departments
* Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
* Bachelor\'s degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration, Law, or Business Administration
* Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification is beneficial
Key Tasks
* Screening candidates and matching them to suitable job roles
* Sourcing job applicants from the database and exploring employment opportunities
* Posting online job adverts on our website and job boards
* Database mining to source candidates
* Ensuring candidates submit correct documents as per our recruitment policy
* Candidates documents are scanned and uploaded on internal database
* Contacting candidates to arrange interviews via telephone and email
* Ensuring candidate references are received in a timely manner
* Checking DBS are completed accurately, posted and monitored for renewal
* Checking Nursing Midwifery Council for nurses who have been dismissed or disciplinary on a monthly basis and filing reports
* Interviewing healthcare assistants
* Successful candidates are enrolled for training
* Booking training venue and prepare training materials
* Communicating with our trainers on candidate numbers, refreshments, course materials
* Ensuring candidates/nurses have company uniform and ID badge prior placements
* Respond to general consultancy enquiries
* Arranging telephone and face-to-face interviews
* Ensure candidates on our internal database is up to date
* Adhere to office systems and quality standards as directed
* Assist other members of the Kcare team and carry out general administration duties as requested
* Attend weekly staff meetings and report progress to management team
