The Role
As a Quality Engineering Manager, you'll lead the quality assurance and inspection functions across multiple sites. Managing a team of Quality Inspectors, you'll oversee inspection processes, ensure ISO compliance, and maintain exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead inspection of precision components using CMM and other metrology equipment
* Manage daily operations within the Quality Department and inspection team
* Validate inspection reports and maintain traceable documentation
* Maintain calibration systems and ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards
* Analyse quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing quality management
* Strong knowledge of inspection processes and CMM operation
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)
* Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to work
* Team player with strong communication and leadership skills
Licences / Certifications (desirable)
* ISO / Quality management training
* CE / UKCA compliance training (or willingness to complete)
