About the Role
The Social Worker role is vital within MAST. The role involves screening contacts, making day‑to‑day referral decisions, attending and presenting information at Group Screening meetings, and working closely with multi‑agency partners. The practice model is designed to keep children safe and families together, offering the right intervention at the right time and in the right place.
Responsibilities
* Screen contacts and make day‑to‑day referral decisions.
* Attend and present information at Group Screening meetings.
* Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to support child protection.
* Develop specialist interests and portfolios to further team development.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified accredited social work professional status.
* Relevant social work experience.
* Understanding of the Signs of Safety model.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced office environment.
