Overview

Who are Codi Group?
Codi is a not-for-profit with a big heart and an even bigger mission. As Wales’ largest provider of housing, care, and support, we’re here to help people live well, feel supported, and rise to their full potential.

We look after almost 25,000 homes across Wales and are gearing up to build more than 4,500 new ones in the next five years. Every day, our teams support nearly 17,000 individuals with services that make a real and uplifting difference to people’s everyday lives.

With over 3,000 passionate colleagues, Codi is a major player in the Welsh economy—powered by strong partnerships, shared values, and a genuine love for helping communities thrive.

Our name says it all: ‘Codi’ means rise in Welsh. It reflects who we are, where we come from, and our ambition to lift expectations, lift communities, and lift each other.

About The Role

This is an 18‑month fixed‑term role, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, working 37 hours per week. You’ll play an important role in supporting the day‑to‑day running of The Hive. The Hive operates Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and the majority of your hours will be based on‑site, with only occasional evening or weekend work required.

A core part of your work will be building strong relationships with partners, local stakeholders, and internal teams to enhance collaboration and social value. You’ll also support the growth of the model into new community spaces, using data, insight, and community feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Skills And Experience Needed

We’re looking for an experienced and confident leader with a strong track record in managing community hubs, multi‑use spaces, or similar community‑focused services. You’ll bring proven operational leadership experience, including line management of staff, overseeing service delivery, and ensuring safe, high‑quality operations. Strong financial awareness is essential, with experience managing budgets, monitoring performance, and supporting income‑generating or social enterprise activity.

You’ll be skilled in building effective partnerships across voluntary, statutory, and community sectors, and confident in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on outcomes. Experience contributing to funding bids or supporting service growth and scaling is highly desirable.

A solid understanding of asset‑based community development, inclusive engagement approaches, and trauma‑informed practice is essential. Knowledge of social value frameworks or SROI would be beneficial. You’ll also hold a relevant qualification in community development, leadership, or management—or bring equivalent transferable experience and skills.
