What role you will play in our team
Inland Fuel Sales Manager UK: We’re looking for an experienced sales professional, ideally with knowledge of the fuels industry in the UK, to take on the role of Inland Fuel Sales Manager. You will be responsible for driving sales growth within the fuels sector from our 5 terminals, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities. You will be joining at an exciting time as we have been investing in both manufacturing and logistics and continue to grow our fuels business.
Location: Fawley Refinery, Southampton
What you will do
* Manage and grow existing customer and supplier relationships while identifying new business opportunities. Customers include other oil companies, terminal operators and importers.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in line with company policies.
* Monitor market trends, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
* Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to solve problems, improve processes and improve customer satisfaction.
About you
* Proven track record in sales within the UK fuels industry (minimum 3 years experience).
* Strong understanding of fuel products, pricing, supply chains, and market dynamics.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
* A passion for action and innovation.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to analyse large quantities of data, identify trends and develop insights
* Ability to translate insights into actionable plans
* Strong project management skills, thrives as working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
