Business Development Director - Market Research
Salary: c£65k-£85k base salary with uncapped commission
Location: Remote, anywhere in the UK
Requirements: Minimum 4 years' sales experience within Market Research, and in panel research (ideally B2B and experience in both offline and online surveys)

We’ve partnered with a prestigious Market Research firm and are looking for a Business Development Director to join their team. Our client is a global firm who is growing at 40% YoY and is looking to grow their sales team, in order to meet the large demand for their product and to increase their market share in the industry. The client sells primary research in the form of panel research and surveys. They also sell a lot of B2B surveys, in addition to B2C surveys, and provide both offline and online surveys for their customers. This is an Individual Contributor role, and you will focus on new business for this position, with plenty of warm leads to work with every week, with one or two existing clients to help you on your way. Any account you win will also be yours to keep in order to grow and farm for future revenue. The basic salary for this role will be circa c£65k-£85k DOE with uncapped commission on top. The client is looking for candidates with experience with selling both B2B/B2C surveys and selling both online/offline surveys for this role as well.
Responsibilities:
1. Be the first point of contact for prospective clients
2. Look after the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
3. Obtain referral leads to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
4. Research and build relationships with new and existing clients
5. Attend MR conference with the company
6. Work closely with the Managing Director
Required skills and experience:
* 4 years’ experience (or more) in closing new business sales in Market Research
* Experience in selling Panel Research (ideally experience with B2B Panel Research and both online/offline surveys)
* Comfortable with cold outreach and building your own pipeline
* Handling the full 360 sales cycle, taking a prospect from qualification through to closing
