Responsibilities
1. Work with design leadership to help form the long-term creative vision for the F1 series in live service.
2. Collaborate with all team disciplines, including artists, QV, engineers, product managers, and producers to get support from the team and guide a feature from initial design to live service.
3. Operate as a bridge between feature development and design for the upcoming title(s) and offer feedback as to how it will be used in the live space.
4. Design complex systems and tune them for specific goals.
5. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including game design documents, and design briefs.
6. Inspire and motivate the team to achieve high-quality within constraints.
7. Take a holistic approach to quality and delivery to ensure that the feature set and corresponding execution creates the best possible product.
8. Use qualitative and quantitative methods to validate and improve ideas.
9. In your role as a Senior Games Designer, you will also guide and mentor other designers.
10. Work with our Data and Analytics Team to understand the impact of updates and features, determining ways to improve engagement, retention and player sentiment through live service.
11. Your Qualifications
12. 5+ years of experience as a Designer working in medium/large teams within the video game industry.
13. Passion for games and an understanding of game mechanics and player psychology.
14. Experience mentoring other Designers and providing insightful feedback on design efforts.
15. Experience of console/mobile game development.
16. Understand business models, and how design and the business model work together will be beneficial.
17. Design and implementation experience with game features that have a live service/economy management component.
