About the Role: A committed Key Stage 2 teacher with a passion for engaging and motivating Year 5 pupils A high-expectations practitioner with strong classroom management skills Proven experience in collaborative teaching environments, such as job shares or team teaching Skilled in differentiating instruction to effectively support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Solid knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, with particular strength in reading, writing, and mathematics Confident in working alongside Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to promote inclusive teaching practices A reflective and flexible professional dedicated to ongoing development and improvement The ideal candidate will: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification A current DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably within a Year 5 classroom A genuine passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils Why Work with Supply Desk?
