Day Rate: £300 - £350 (Inside IR35)

Note: Due to limited public transport links to the site, this role requires candidates to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
We're seeking an experienced Asset & IT Financial Management (ITFM) Manager to take ownership of IT asset life cycle management, financial control, and supplier governance across a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on role ensuring quality, accuracy, and transparency of IT assets and associated financial processes.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of IT Asset Management, IT Financial Management, and Supplier Management expertise, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
* Oversee the full life cycle of IT assets (hardware and software) from acquisition through to retirement, ensuring compliance with internal processes and governance.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of IT inventory, licences, warranties, and service agreements.
* Ensure financial accuracy across IT cost allocations, recharges, and budget submissions (monthly, quarterly, annually).
* Analyse and reconcile software licence compliance positions, identifying optimisation and cost-saving opportunities.
* Maintain and update spend reports, supplier contracts, and renewal data to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
* Support the migration of the asset database from Lotus Notes to ManageEngine.
* Manage key supplier relationships and oversee performance reviews and service delivery.
* Develop and maintain asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
* Produce financial and asset management reports for senior stakeholders.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Experience in a similar role within IT Asset Management, IT Financial Management, or Service Management.
* Strong understanding of IT asset life cycles, software licence compliance, and recharging/cost allocation models.
* Experience managing supplier relationships and third-party delivered services.
* Knowledge of ManageEngine (or similar tools) highly desirable.
* Familiarity with Lotus Notes, Microsoft 365, and IT financial reporting.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience working in a global or enterprise-scale organisation.
* ITIL v3/v4 certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
