Job Description
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to meet sales targets.
* Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
* Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Sales Management: Oversee sales activities, meet targets, and ensure excellent customer service.
* Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals aligned with client needs.
* Collaboration: Work with operations and finance for seamless service.
* Reporting: Regularly report to senior management on business development progress.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience: Business development experience in contract logistics, with evidence of strategic solutions selling over multi-year deals.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field.
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Leadership: Proven success in developing strategies and achieving sales targets.
* Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make decisions.
