Key Responsibilities
1. Act as an initial point of reference for service users and external agencies.
2. Implement security systems, ensuring the safety and security of the service, and respond to faults as needed.
3. Monitor access to the services and visitors; log and report incidents and antisocial behaviour.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and practices.
5. Escalate incidents to on-call services when necessary.
6. Maintain accurate written records (e.g., incidents, handovers, support or risk plans).
7. Report maintenance issues, such as emergency repairs.
8. Process referrals to the service using the Mainstay system.
What we want from you
* Understanding and commitment to Nacro’s values.
* Knowledge of issues affecting people in contact with the Criminal Justice System and/or experiencing homelessness.
* Understanding of safeguarding.
* Ability to work with vulnerable adults with complex needs (e.g., substance misuse, physical health, mental health, employment, and housing support).
