We are now looking to enhance our Sales team and are looking to recruit an exceptional Master Technician at our Ford dealership in Hastings MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a Birchwood Master Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service through technical expertise and high efficiency levels. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints. Carry out vehicle repairs and communicate issues to the Service Manager and Service Advisors Conduct additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors. Maintain the workplace in a neat and orderly manner in accordance with business standards, whilst ensuring the safety of all team members. Utilise manufacturer diagnostic tools to guarantee thoroughness and the highest standard of testing, diagnosis, and repairs. Carryout vehicle servicing and repairs Carryout complex diagnosis of vehicle faults Repair and rectify electrical and mechanical defects consistently to a high standard of workmanship Follow manufacturers recommended repair processes Carryout electronic vehicle health checks combined with video evidence Complete all associated administration including repair write-ups and warranty claim information Liaise with After-Sales Advisors and work as part of a team To provide technical assistance in the Workshop To assist the Service Reception Team in discussing technical details with customers CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS If you are currently an experienced Technician with a proven technical background, preferably as a Master Technician or working towards the qualification, we would love to discuss this great opportunity with you. You will be a qualified, certified Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to Level 3) Hold a valid UK Driver's License. Advanced technical knowledge and expertise. The ability to work without supervision. Responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work.
