Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager include:
1. Manages construction projects from start to finish
2. Prepares estimates from blueprints and send bid proposals to clients
3. Works with clients, architects, landlords and building departments on project design, license and permitting
4. Qualifies subcontractor bids and handles subcontractor negotiations
5. Creates construction schedules for projects to send to the client
6. Supervises field superintendents and subcontractors
7. Coordinates and schedules subcontractors and deliveries of materials to projects
8. Reviews field superintendent's daily and weekly reports, site logs, and site photos
9. Initiates Purchase Order Requests for subcontractors & approves draw payment requests

The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate:
10. 5+ years of construction or project management experience in the general contracting space
11. Experience with light industrial and/or big box retail/commercial projects
12. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent
13. Strong organizational skills; candidate should be energized by working with different teams, both internal and external
14. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams concurrently. Comfortable learning new software platforms to track and organize project information
15. Technical background with understanding of building engineering and commercial projects; prior experience in commercial projects
