Conference Services Officer - 16292 at Brunel Law School. Main responsibilities will include selling, planning and organising all aspects of our internal and external customer’s event bookings, along with working closely with other departments within the University such as Chartwells (caterers), Residences and Sport.

* Salary: Grade 6 from £34,145 to £35,990 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £38,638 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting

Responsibilities
* Sell, plan and organise all aspects of internal and external customer event bookings.
* Work closely with other departments within the University such as Chartwells (caterers), Residences and Sport.
* Manage existing and new client budgets and raise invoices.
* Promote, plan and organise all aspects of the summer conference business, including residential Language Schools at Brunel University London.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in event management and coordination or similar.
* Strong general education qualification or proven experience of working in an office environment delivering high quality customer service.
* Computer literacy and good database experience; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Self-motivated with the ability to drive an excellent level of customer service with a can-do attitude and a professional demeanour.
* Ability to meet or exceed targets, to manage and adhere to service level agreements and to work within the department’s policies and procedures.
