Receipt and Distribution Assistant
This is a manual handling role working as part of a team to provide a comprehensive service to the Hospital. Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled movement of stock and items around the Hospital site, adhering to health & safety and manual handling practices.
Key duties include:
1. Assisting in the receipt of items into stock using the trust's procurement systems.
2. Identifying miss-deliveries and accurately recording details into the trust's IT systems.
3. Prioritising workloads to ensure critical items are received promptly.
4. Liaising with ward areas for the safe delivery of stock.
You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, resilience under pressure, and a positive attitude are essential. You must adhere to departmental protocols, including dress code, cleanliness, and professionalism, in line with the Trust’s values.
