As an International Buyer you will work across all sectors of our business to ensure that our Business can efficiently run. WEX Inc is rebuilding and globalising its sourcing, Vendor management and Procurement functions.
Reporting to the International Category manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with both Stakeholders and Category managers on initiatives spanning a broad spectrum of categories, including but not limited to Human Resources, Informational Technology, Marketing, Finance, Facilities, Operations and Sales.
We require a candidate that is available on short / immediate notice to cover a maternity cover until June 2025 and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.

How you’ll make an impact
13. Become Procurements International subject matter expert (primary supplier set up) on Coupa Procure to Pay and Contract Life Cycle Management
14. Respond to #CoupaHelp Google Space inquires and questions
15. Support the International Category Manager with ADHOC Coupa support (Uploading Contracts, NDA’s, support with the onboarding process etc.)
16. Monitor and minimize overdue invoices
17. Partner with International Category Manager to maximize the global spend under management, drive cost savings, consolidate vendor pool
18. Quantify the international spend pool by vendor, department and categories
19. Develop responsibility matrix for international vendors and a roadmap to consolidate vendors and bring spend under management
20. Align with WEX legal resources to gain understanding of the contract review process
21. Become knowledgeable on Procurement Policy, Procedures and PO terms
22. Identify vendor consolidation opportunities globally
23. Begin to support both renewals and new contract activities based on contract responsibility threshold
24. Leverage Procurement 3rd party benchmarks, skillset and experience to negotiate pricing and help the department support its goal if increasing spend under management and driving total cost savings
25. Evaluate new supplier requests engage category managers
26. Support vendor onboarding and administration
27. Provide tactical and administrative support to Category Managers when needed (PO closeouts, contract loading / signature, requisition approvals etc)
28. Support Audit requests
29. Onboard 3rd party contractors by following the Procurement approval process for contingent workers and collaborating with HR as needed
Experience you’ll bring
30. Previous Global procurement experience supporting European and APAC regions, preferably in a Buyer, Purchasing Analyst or Junior Category manager capacity
31. Experience with Coupa or other P2P/CLM/ Vendor Risk Management tools
32. Training or experience with LEAN, PMP, and/or Six Sigma practices
33. Previous experience of dealing with Tenders from start to finish
34. Able to demonstrate contract and procurement experience
35. Flexible and proactive approach
