About the Role
One of my local government clients is seeking 3 x Customer Service Officers to join their Adult Care and Wellbeing Hub in Lincoln.
As part of the Council’s Customer Service Centre, you’ll be the first point of contact for members of the public and professionals, handling enquiries by phone and email. You’ll provide advice, support, and information about Adult Care, Carer Services, and the Wellbeing Service helping people to access the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to telephone and email enquiries from residents and professionals.

Use a strength-based approach to understand needs and offer appropriate solutions.

Handle sensitive, complex, and emotive situations with empathy.
*
Record accurate case notes and manage information on council systems.
*
Liaise with internal departments and external services.
*
Deliver excellent customer care in line with council values.
About You
*
Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, or similar roles.
*
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
*
Able to manage sensitive conversations with compassion and professionalism.
*
Confident IT user (Microsoft Office and CRM systems).
*
Team player with resilience and a positive attitude.
