As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Assembly Manager to lead our assembly operations.
Role Overview
The Assembly Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assembly department, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. You will lead a team of skilled operatives, implement process improvements, and work closely with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day assembly operations to meet production schedules.
Lead, motivate, and develop the assembly team to achieve performance goals.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan resources effectively, including staffing, training, and equipment needs.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and optimise workflows.
Analyse production data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to senior management.
About You
Proven experience in a production/assembly management role, ideally within a lean manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Experience in deploying continuous improvement methods.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
