Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and career driven Finance Co-Ordinator to join our team. This role is integral to our finance function, focusing on day to day financial operations, including ownership of QuickBooks, invoicing, expense management, and providing financial insights for project planning and analysis of profit and loss (P&L). The ideal candidate will embrace emerging technologies, particularly AI tools, to enhance our financial processes and drive efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

* Financial Management: Take ownership of QuickBooks, managing day to day financial transactions, invoicing and expense tracking to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Project Financial Analysis: Assist in project planning by providing detailed financial analysis, including budget preparation and tracking, to support informed decision making.
* P&L Analysis: Regularly review and analyse profit and loss statements, providing insights and recommendations to optimise financial performance.
* Cost Forecasting and Budget Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to forecast financial needs and align with business strategy, drilling down into project costs and providing comprehensive financial insights to inform strategic decisions.
* Team Collaboration: Work with various departments to gather financial data, ensuring integration between operations and finance for effective budgeting and forecasting.
* Technology Adoption: Embrace changing technologies, particularly AI applications, to improve financial reporting, forecasting and overall efficiency of financial processes.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work with the finance team to implement best practices in financial management.
* Flexibility and Adaptability: Stay responsive to changing business dynamics and help adapt strategies as needed to align with organisational goals.

Qualifications:

* Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field (e.g., AAT, finance degree).
* Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel; experience with AI tools for finance is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* A proactive and flexible approach in a dynamic environment, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
