Youll be working closely with secondary-aged pupils with autism and complex needs, supporting them to achieve their full potential in a safe, structured, and inspiring environment. What youll be doing: Supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, sensory processing difficulties, and communication challenge Helping to deliver personalised learning programmes alongside experienced teachers and therapists Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them feel calm, secure and valued Using creative approaches to engage students in learning, social interaction, and personal development Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a school that truly puts pupils firstWhat were looking for: Experience working with children or young people with SEND, especially autism and complex needs (school-based or otherwise) Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment An understanding of safeguarding, positive behaviour support, and person-centred practice Relevant qualifications are welcome, but attitude, empathy and commitment are what matter most!
