This is a great opportunity for an experiencedActivities Coordinator to join our friendly team at ourSolihull Retirement Village and support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details: -
* Position: Activity Coordinator
* Hours: 20 hours per week – flexibility needed to work up to4 days and will include some evenings and weekends, depending on events planned.
* Contract: Permanent - Part Time
* Hourly Rate: £12.56 per hour

What will you do as our Activity Coordinator?
* Ensure a varied, exciting, and dynamic activity plan is implemented for residents.
* Produce and distribute activity programmes.
* Encourage residents to lead their own interest groups / activity sessions.
* Assist the LifestyleManager with planning, organisation, and preparation of events.
* Identify upcoming events, current issues and news linked to their village, and liaising withthe marketing and Social mediaTeam.
Our ideal Activity Coordinator:
* Will have an excellent opportunity to allow their imagination and creativity to lead. Of course, the successful candidate will also need to have excellent organizational skills and good understanding of budgeting for events.
* Have the attributes required to lead the Activities Program and provide the right kind of support and encouragement for our residents to lead on a fun and exciting schedule, then this could be the job for you.
